[That hesitation is all the answer that Subaru needed. He could not ask his brother to leave this place.]

I wish to understand what he wants, but doing so could come at the greatest of prices. One you have spent years trying to help me avoid paying. I'm not willing to let all that time be for nothing.

I don't know. I imagine it will depend on the answers. If he wishes to hunt to kill, then I will fight to live..or run to do so.

Though perhaps if he finally gets what he wants..at least then you could have the chance to stop running.

Subaru...I do not know what that man's intention is, but I have never thought he wanted to kill you. [But then again with Seishirou...you never know.]

And I won't be okay with that. You going alone and being in some kind of danger. Especially if it could be avoided.

But that is the problem..we do not know. He has never given a straight answer to anything. I would like to say he would not harm us..but if that is true, why did we run in the first place?

So we would hide ourselves away for the rest of our time on this world..in a tunnel. It is an option I suppose.

......It's no better, but I'm not sure what to do, Subaru. It's either continue to run, to where would be limited,or hide somewhere he won't find us.

[Subaru is silent for a moment and then sighs softly.]

It would be selfish to pull you from this city and those you care about. And hiding within the city will do us no good. Confronting him is the only option.

[There is another pause..]

I am the one he wants..he might be more willing to communicate if I am alone.

[Plus his brother is likely to fight now-talk later as soon as he is face to face with Seishirou. That is something he would like to avoid.]
