Granted it's never easy to slip out the door with a needy flatmate, but Sherlock seemed to be thankfully, finally resting well enough to manage on his own, so John arrives right on time, his active dreamberry in one hand- prepared for whatever random demand he'll be texted for- and a map of the area in the other.
He scans the area for the dark haired youth, taking up his militarized posture out of habit.]
[Subaru emerges from the shadows of the alleyway next to the tea shop as he spots the other man. He could have easily gone inside and gotten a table but he wasn't sure John would know to look for him. So instead he had waited.
Walking up to John, Subaru gives a little bow.]
I hope this location isn't too inconvenient. [It isn't far from the apartment but Subaru knows how needy Sherlock can be.]
[A little more prepared than their first meeting, John is much less jumpy about the vampire emerging from the shadows; and holds his ground. He smirks, catching on to the insinuation.]

[He taps the dreamberry emphatically, with a reassuring nod. Sherlock's injuries are not so extreme as to stop him from complaining, if he truly needs anything, John knows he'll be able to reach him. The doctor follows behind Subaru, allowing him to lead.]
Good to know, despite coming from different worlds, people still know how to make a cuppa. I wonder what else is considered standard..
This world draws things from all other worlds. Anything you want from your world is likely to be here. [He heads instead and goes straight towards a table in the corner. He begins to remove his cape as he walks, not wanting it to billow and cause issues for the following man. He folds it skillfully as he removes it, setting into an empty chair once they reach the table.

I have not..but then I have not looked for things I am not familiar with. That means they could be here. But I also have traveled many worlds so there are few things that surprise me.
I wouldn't say I came intentionally. World travelers cannot control their destinations. We simply accept wherever we end up. Usually we have a choice as to when we can leave..however this world took that ability away.
That must be hard for you; being stuck in one place when you know you might be needed in another.

Power doesn't necessarily have to mean magic. Memories can be powerful. Feelings can be as well. if you are drawn to that place then it could just be the feeling of home that makes it strong.

Perhaps it came before this..but my most vivid of first memories is when I came to his home as it was falling apart. He wasn't doing well so I promised to help him and restore his home.
